Fenwick Techna AV features an ultra-thin, superbly balanced graphite rod blank that's wrapped with an Aramid Weil, the same material used in bullet-proof vests. The superior strength of Aramid Veil construction enables Fenwick to use less material in the design of the Techna AV. That's why these rods are so light, thin and sensitive. The rod also tracks straighter. Unnecessary side-to-side motion is significantly reduced, so less energy is wasted and more goes into making long, straight casts and thunderous hook sets. The Techna AV rod blank is up to four times more impact resistant thanks to Aramid Veil technology.
