Designed for fishing small spinnerbaits and leadhead jigs in clear-water rivers and lakes (where a shorter rod is beneficial for both accuracy and lure presentation), the CR661 is also a good choice for vertical jigging in situations when boat position is critical. The 5'6" length gives the angler maximum pressure, still protecting the lighter lines for which it's rated. It's also a nice small stream rod, where smaller baits are essential for success and those medium-sized fish can put a decent bend in your rod.
