| When we set out to create our entry-level
fly rod outfits we wanted to remove the fear, anxiety and confusion that
too-often accompanies the first time fly rod purchase. In short, we wanted
to make it simple, really simple. What we came up with is four terrific
beginner outfits that are ready to hit the water. Each kit comes complete
with a great single-action fly reel loaded with backing, the correct weight
fly line and a tapered leader. The package includes an impact resistant,
transparent rod case and a soft wrap-around reel cover. Add a bug and
you’re ready to hit the water. |

| The Passage kit includes a smooth casting
71/2' 4 wt. graphite fly rod. It’s designed to fish panfish and trout on
small streams and ponds. The rod is a beautiful emerald green and comes
equipped with single-action fly reel loaded with mint green weight forward
fly line attached to sixty yards of backing and a tapered leader. No long
difficult presentations required, just get the fly on the water and watch
