The 'Purist II' reels are a classic range of centrepin reels combining traditional design with modern technology. All reels in this range are serial numbered and are presented in a wooden box* (except model 2071) with a certificate of authenticity.An additional model to this range is the Purist II 2071 Centrepin, a 5" diameter reel with a wide drum. - Bodies & spools machined from solid aluminium bar stock

NOTE: Some Purist II models available through Canadian distibutors are supplied in a black carton, without the removable lineguard and wooden box. The Purist Caged Lightweight (CL) reels are based on a caged construction and are 15% lighter than their respective size in the standard Purist II range.This year's Limited Edition is the Purist II 2048. This is a 3" diameter, medium width Lever Type centrepin, a new size in the Purist range. Features include: - Dovetailed, ventilated rod plate made from bar stock aluminium
