| Dual
chamber option |
|
Dual chamber option is for
added safety and reliability. Exterior configuration is
the same for single or dual chamber pontoons. Dual chamber pontoons have
two separate polyurethane interior air bladders, each with its own high
volume inflation valve. These bladders are inflated so that each carries
half the air in each pontoon.Pontoon failure is very, very uncommon.
However for the extra careful anglers - you can order your new Bronco or
Bronco-X with two bladders in each pontoon. This gives you an
extra option if one bladder fails - you will still have ample floatation
to reach shore. Then just pump up the second (already partly inflated)
bladder to maximum full pontoon capacity and away you go again.
To fully inflate the extra chamber you will
need to carry a compact air pump with you on your boat.
(A good idea anyway. It's common sense to be prepared for the unexpected).
That's why the Bronco and Bronco-X have those big roomy pockets, so you
can carry all of your essential gear in an organized manner |

Why
Urethane?
In providing our
customers with the best
product possible we have
selected polyurethane to
construct bladders for our
tubes.
Polyurethane offers the
uniqueness of high tensile
strength, flexibility,
excellent abrasion
resistance and low
temperature properties when
compared to other polymers.
Urethane gives us a
product for the fisherman
that doesn't tear, that is
flexible in many temperature
ranges, light weight and has
a longer life than other
inflatable materials.
Our two layer system
(bladder and tube cover)
provides an extra level of
strength and durability
versus a single layer welded
type as found in other tubes
and rafts. |
