 The top of the line is StreamDance GLX They
feature the finest rod components available today... luxurious cork,
direct from Portugal, our proprietary GLX graphite, in high performance, 4
& 4 - piece rod blanks (depending on rod length). In addition, we've added
a new reel seat, with our exclusive offset-oval sculptured barrel and a
distinctively beautiful "California Buckeye Burl" insert. And with recoil
guides made by REC from a special nickle titanium alloy, StreamDance GLX

lines, have a softer and load easily. Available in 3 & 4-piece
configurations, depending on rod length, they are ideal
for spring creeks, flatwater or tailwater rivers, where short
accurate casts with fine, superlight tippets and tiny flies are key to
consistent success. Fly casters that prefer using a slower, smoother,
power casting stroke, that bends into the lower
1/3 of the rod, will love these rod. it is a hi-tech solutions to a
wonderful segment of the fly-fishing market , meaning slow and smooth
doesn't equal soft and sluggish anymore.

greater versatility. They are moderately -stiff
with all but one having fast tapers, giving anglers extended casting
distance. with a soft enough
tip to cast well at short
distances. They generate higher line speeds to help deliver casts in windy
- conditions HLS rods were designed for the caster who tends to punch the
cast and wants the flv to go straight.

G.LoomisŪ StreamDance Metolius Fly Rods
This consider t the workhorse of the new
StreamDance series, the Metolius is exemplary of G.Loomis' dedication to
creating condition-specific actions and tapers and crafting rods that are
as beautiful as the settings in which they are fished. These rods are
available in the softer Presentation action that's ideal for smaller water
where precision is everything, the moderately stiff High Line Speed action
for longer, more powerful casts and a Trout Spey model for big-water trout
fishing. A special blend of two, and sometimes three, proprietary
graphites makes all three actions incredibly responsive and lightweight.
The offset oval reel seats have delicate green inserts engraved with the
G.LoomisŪ fish (Presentation models feature an engraved trout). Hopkins
and Holloway stripper guides and hard chrome single-foot snake guides
shoot line with ease. And each has premium Portuguese cork grips for
all-day fishing comfort |
