This is a short, light action trout
and panfish rod designed to allow you to fish small to medium-sized
flies on creeks and small streams where low, overhanging branches and
shoreline brush restrict normal casting methods. It's a nice, soft,

works especially well in windy conditions thanks to its shorter,
lower-profile casting stroke. |

Designed for the utmost delicacy
in presentation, these ultralight rods will cast tiny flies
with great precision and control. In designing this series, we
took into special account the shock absorbtion qualities
necessary to play fish on tippets all the way down to 8X. The
two and three-weights are intended for fishing small creeks
and ponds with floating lines, oftentimes in very calm,
crystal clear water. This is where some of the most selective
trout can be found, and these rods will help seasoned fly
fishers attain the loop control and line speed necessary to
present even a #22 PMD with flawless precision. These rods may
be small, and you'll marvel at their weightlessness, but
they're more than capable of playing and landing large trout
and panfish. If you commonly fish smaller waters with limited
casting space, we recommend the shorter models for increased
control and finesse. On slightly larger streams or ponds,
where you may want to extend your casting range, we suggest
the longer options. |
