Thompson created modern flytying with the invention of the "collet" type vises.  These cam-operated vises have special steel collets with tapered necks which are drawn into compatible tapered sleeves of hardened steel, to close the jaws.  The single action of the cam lever is enough to grasp or release the hook.

D.H. Thompson shall not be liable for damages to any tool used for commercial purposes, nor loss, nor other incidental or consequential costs, expenses, or damages incurred by the owner, or any other user.

During the lifetime of the original registered purchaser, your Thompson tool will be repaired or replaced with a comparable model (at D.H. thompson's option), when the defective product is returned to the factory.

Other than the registration and postage requirements, no charges will be made for such repair or replacement.
